"A new racing style with collisions and more action"
In Need for Speed ProStreet, you will leave behind those little street races from your neighborhood in NFS Underground and start to really compete in this new edition of the game, which is a fairly dramatic change from what we are all accustomed to with this series of video games. In this version, you will try to become king of the highway with four different competition styles, and humiliate your arch rival, who in this game is Asian.
Compared to previous games in the NFS saga, Need for Speed ProStreet is much more global in nature, where you aren’t restricted to the asphalt streets of your neighborhood. Instead, you will take your car onto all sorts of streets, all over the world, racing over sand, snow and asphalt. Long-time players of NFS will notice that the car’s collision system will have a direct impact on its performance, as well as the aerodynamics of each part of the car, so getting the maximum performance from your vehicle won’t be an easy task.
Destroying your car won’t just make you lose the race – getting it repaired will cost you, which is certainly more realistic, but means you’ll have to be more cautious and adept behind the wheel.
